Affect Dynamics

Ask better questions.

Then build the answers.

WE REFUSE TO TREAT THE STATUS QUO AS A REQUIREMENT.
Technology accumulates assumptions. Eventually those assumptions become “just how it works.”

We start there. We question the premise, follow the experience end to end, and build toward what should have been obvious in the first place.
Questions we like 01—05
01Why does it work this way?
02Who decided this was acceptable?
03Is this actually a technical constraint?
04What happens if we refuse the tradeoff?
05What should this feel like instead?
User Experience is not the screen

There’s only experience.

The install.
The API.
The error message.
The deployment.
The handoff.
The latency.
The documentation.
The default.
The workaround you shouldn’t need.

Our operating belief

User Experience starts with U.

What that means

We do not begin with the interface. We begin with the person, the intent, the surrounding context, and the full chain of consequences. The screen is just one moment in that experience.

A phrase we do not accept as an answer
“That’s just how it works.”
THINGS WE’VE QUESTIONED.
Local file sharingWhy is this still annoying?
AI governanceWhy is trust assumed?
Infrastructure recoveryWhy guess when we can know?
Developer toolingWhy is pain a prerequisite?
Mobile interactionWhy should anatomy adapt to UI?
Human-computer coordinationWhy stop at the screen?
Better questions create better systems.
The pipeline is the product.
